I pray all is well with you today!

Dear Reader,

There is a prescribed method set for us to pray given in Matthew 6

and repeated in Luke 11.  It is the model prayer..... it houses the

prescribed method for accessing the presence of God!

The example Pastor McClendon gives is that driving a vehicle

has a prescribed method and if one day you want to go somewhere

and do not do it according to the prescribed method of putting

the key in the ignition, pressing the gas, and steering, you will

simply sit right there and go nowhere.   Think of trying to access

the presence of God and ignoring the prescribed method that

God gave through Christ in chapters listed above.  

I am reminded of a recent message given by Pastor Antoine

Barriere about operating within the laws of nature and how if

something happens a particular way once it always does, such

as gravity - the pull is always downward.  God, he says operates

the same way and does not go against natural laws.  How this

ties in is where God has given us example; where He has shown

us how He operates or how he expects us to operate, He wont

back away from it. Adhere to the Prescribed Method!
