MONEY HAS A TIME VALUE Didnt ya know?
"After 70 years of hard work and saving as a laundress, Oseola McCarty made a gift of $150000 to the University of Southern Mississippi to help needy student."
This excerpt is taken from the book SIMPLE WISDOM FOR RICH LIVING by Oseola McCarty
"I don't like to waste. I keep everything - clothes, furniture, housewares - until it wears out. Usefulness often outlasts style.
"I know people who don't know God just can't understand that He's real..... You have to be willing to start at the beginning and become like a child. You have to accept God the best way you know how and then He'll show Himself to you. And the more you serve Him, the more able you are to serve Him.
"Family is the greatest blessing in this life. My grandmother was the closest thing I had to a hero as a child. She was sweet to me.
"Laughter is a good release. It's a blessing to be able to laugh at yourself.
"I am not afraid of dying. I am ready to go anytime God calls me home. I am at peace with my life and m work. I don't think I have any enemies."
Ms. McCarty believed God! She believed in giving, loving and learning. She began to learn computers in her 80s. She went to one class and had a ball.
That is a great testament to this theory 'AGE IS JUST A NUMBER'. AMEN!!!
She received an Honorary Doctorate, read the story here
