Free and open to the public. No dance experience required.
Regular weekly dance class will be taught at 6:00 p.m. each Monday and Thursday by Giselle Nakhid, professional dancer and choreographer. Each Thursday at 7:00 p.m., in six-week intervals, you’ll be treated to a new and exciting instructor. Dance offerings, changing every six weeks, include African, Salsa, Haitian, Tap, Line Dance, Contemporary, Secondline, and more. So get fit with the "sistahs" as you exercise and dance your way to wellness. The program is directed by Jamilah Peters-Muhammad, a registered nurse and professional dancer, who handles all aspects of programming, such as dance, educational films, nutrition, and health and wellness.
